In the autumn of 2014, my creative team held a week-long fundraiser to raise donations for a team member's brother who was recuperating from a debilitating accident. To keep things light and fun, I created a food and drink characters to illustrate the 3 components of the fundraiser: a bake sale, potluck dinner, and a happy hour. Posters, billboards, and stickers were distributed throughout the company.  Over $5,000 was raised. The family enjoyed the lighthearted pieces; some of them made their way to the hospital for decorations and a show of support.

In the Spring of 2018 I designed the full range of marketing materials for a company sponsored Battle of the Band fundraiser. Throughout the months of April & May, tickets could be purchased for the concert, with a large portion of them typically sold at a happy hour party. A large range of materials were illustrated and designed to spread the word: posters hung around the office, emails were sent out and info was passed out to every desk.

I created illustrations for the company’s hula-themed event, pairing them with custom patterns for backgrounds that helped keep the large range of piece looking cohesive. Overall the event was a huge success- over $4500 were raised and a majority of the tickets were sold at the happy hour fundraiser.

Each year AbelsonTaylor coordinates a large team to run the Chase Bank Corporate Challenge, a 5K through Grant Park. Branded shirts are worn by the runners from the agency. For the past 2 years, I've had the pleasure of winning the agency wide design competition.

For the 2017 shirts, I created a large illustration denoting the many icons that make Chicago memorable. Sprinkled within the landmarks are health and wellness symbols that encompass all that AbelsonTaylor works on.

The shirts were a huge success and it was a wonderful experience to see so many runners in the crowd sporting the gold and blue design.

For the past several years, I've been designing and illustrating posters for my company's Halloween events. Details for the costume contest and preceding company lunch are advertised around the agency. 

Something a little different from the everyday work!

In collaboration with a friend, I designed barware for her family's new house. Inspired by 80's typography, the Neon Cabin was born.

Using a vintage motorcycle helmet and 6ft of mirrored tiles, rows of tiles were put together to create this one-of-a-kind headpiece.

Flower crowns made for a wedding, summer of 2013. Using local blooms found in the Boston MA area, a number of flower crowns for the bride's wedding party were made, helping to encapsulate the couple's woodland romance theme.

In the summer of 2013, bouquets, boutonnieres, flower crowns, decorations and vases were created and arranged for a Boston wedding. 

Working with the bride and groom, we conceptualized a wall of color that spanned 60" across a museum's outer wall and hung from their roof. Multicolored circles were strung from large branches to gently sway and twirl during the ceremony.

Local flowers were collected from nearby farmer's markets, garden centers, and shops to help encapsulate the couple's woodland romance tone. Sunflowers, tea roses, ferns and zinnias stood out within the lush bouquets.

Posters, stickers, and other wedding paperwork was created to reflect the couples theme.
